Put household details in context
Connect relevant people with their records so a familiar name is backed by useful information about the asset, debt or policy.
Explore people and ownershipHousehold organisation & family preparedness
Bring household assets, insurance policies, debt commitments and important documents into one organised place. Create a clearer record for yourself and choose what trusted people can see with Portfolio Plus.

Start with your situation
In a household, one person may know which lender holds the mortgage, where the home insurance policy is stored and when commitments renew. When the information lives in separate drawers, inboxes and folders, another person may struggle to find it. A clear household record helps make that information easier to locate and discuss before it is urgently needed.
One person may carry most of the knowledge about accounts, policies and providers.
Statements, property documents, registrations and legal paperwork can be spread across physical and digital folders.
A family member may not know what exists, who to contact or where to find the latest document.
Policy renewals, rates and recurring commitments need a review process you can maintain.
See the connected record
Document household assets and liabilities, connect the relevant people, and keep supporting paperwork alongside the records. Portfolio Plus adds controlled viewer access to selected sections for a partner or trusted family member. Individual documents are shared separately, so access to a section does not automatically open every file.

Understand selected sharingFeature breakdown
| Feature | What it does | Why the connection matters |
|---|---|---|
| Family and professional sharing | Give a trusted person viewer access to selected sections with Portfolio Plus. | Keep the viewing permission separate from ownership or beneficiary entries. |
| Insurance overview | Bring recorded providers and policy details together. | Know where to look for the current policy and contact information. |
| Commitments and renewals | Record utilities, rates, subscriptions and renewal details. | Support your own review routine; payments and renewals remain your responsibility. |
| Reports | Prepare summaries of recorded household information. | Give a family conversation a clearer starting point. |
Access and privacy
The portfolio owner controls access. Portfolio Plus viewers can see permitted sections but cannot edit the records. Share individual documents explicitly. A recorded family relationship or beneficiary does not create a viewer invitation or legal authority.

Use the Financial Records Readiness Check to identify information you still need to find or organise. Answer the prompts, then use the next-step checklist to choose a manageable task. It is not a legal or emergency-readiness assessment.
Start the readiness checkHow to get started
List the accounts, assets, debts, policies and useful contacts you want to organise. Start with what matters most to your household.
Add the people or entities associated with those records. Keep ownership and borrowing details separate and check anything you are unsure about.
Add current figures and selected documents. Record information that helps explain the picture, without using the app as a place to store passwords.
If you choose Portfolio Plus, decide which sections a viewer may see and which documents to share. Review records after a new statement or a household change.
Keep the purpose clear
You might begin with the home, a loan and the household policies. From there, add the other records that help explain your circumstances. A useful handover starts with knowing what exists, who is connected to it and where the current documents are. It does not require entering every detail on the first day.
A financial record is not a will, power of attorney or instruction that releases assets. Naming a beneficiary does not give them app access or legal authority. Keep formal arrangements with the appropriate professionals and choose viewer permissions separately.

No. It can help organise information for a family conversation or professional meeting, but it does not replace a will, power of attorney or legal advice. Your formal documents determine those arrangements.
Review records when you receive a new statement, replace a policy or change an ownership or household arrangement. Values are primarily maintained by you. Check dates and remove ambiguity before relying on a report.
